What we collect
- Contact and enquiry data: name, email, phone number, and any message you submit through our contact form.
- Candidate data: if you register your CV or apply for a role through us, we collect your CV, work history, qualifications, and any information needed to verify credentials (e.g. professional registration, right-to-work status) as part of our recruitment service.
- Cookies: necessary cookies required for the site to function, and, only if you consent, advertising cookies used to serve and measure ads via Google AdSense.
How we use it
- To respond to your enquiries and provide recruitment, procurement, or project management services you've requested.
- To match candidates with suitable roles and share relevant candidate information with prospective employers, with the candidate's knowledge.
- To carry out credential and background checks required for healthcare recruitment placements.
- Where you've consented, to show advertising and measure its performance.
MediMatrix does not charge candidates fees for recruitment services, in line with UK employment agency regulations.
Cookies and advertising
We ask for your consent before setting any non-essential cookie. If you accept, we use Google AdSense, which may set cookies to show and measure advertising. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing your cookies and revisiting the site, which will show the consent banner again.
Who we share data with
- Prospective employers, when you apply for or express interest in a role.
- Service providers who process data on our behalf, including our email delivery provider and, where you've consented, Google AdSense.
- Regulators or authorities where we're legally required to.
Our job listings also draw on publicly available vacancy data from Reed and Adzuna; this doesn't involve sharing your personal data with them.
How long we keep data
We retain candidate and enquiry data for as long as reasonably necessary to provide our services and meet legal and regulatory requirements, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request erasure of your data, subject to legal retention requirements.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Request a copy of your data in a portable format.
- Complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you believe your data has been mishandled.
